Most budget and mid-range infrared saunas emit far infrared only. Full-spectrum saunas deliver a broader range of wavelengths, each targeting different depths and functions in the body.

The term “full-spectrum” refers specifically to infrared light coverage, not the visible light spectrum. A full-spectrum infrared sauna combines shorter-wave near infrared with longer far wavelengths, giving you access to benefits that single-spectrum saunas cannot deliver on their own.

What Each Wavelength Does
