Electrical requirements vary by model and may include a dedicated 120V or 240V circuit with model-specific amperage. Larger infrared saunas and traditional saunas generally require a dedicated 240V connection installed by a licensed electrician. Always confirm the voltage, amperage, plug type, and circuit requirements listed on the individual product page before installation.

Many Sun Home sauna cabins are designed for straightforward assembly with two or more people, but the process varies by model. A licensed electrician may be required to install the appropriate circuit or complete the electrical connection. Your installation space must also have a solid, level surface and meet the clearance requirements in the product manual.

Full-size saunas are generally delivered on a pallet through scheduled curbside freight service with a liftgate. The carrier will contact you to arrange delivery, and standard delivery does not include moving the sauna into your home or assembling it. Additional delivery services may be available depending on the product and destination. Shipping information

Routine maintenance is simple. Allow the sauna to air out after use, wipe down frequently touched surfaces, and follow the cleaning instructions provided for its wood, glass, heater, and electronic components. Outdoor models should also be inspected periodically to keep exterior surfaces, seals, and ventilation areas clean and unobstructed.

Sun Home saunas are designed for at-home use and include model-specific operating and safety instructions. Always follow the recommended temperature, session length, hydration, and clearance guidance in your manual. Consult a healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant, have a cardiovascular condition, take medication that affects heat tolerance, or have concerns about heat exposure.

Sun Home infrared saunas are designed with ultra-low EMF and ELF exposure at the seated position. Testing and measurements vary by model, so shoppers should review the current testing information and specifications for the sauna they are considering. EMF and ELF measurements apply specifically to infrared heating systems and should not be generalized across traditional saunas.

Sun Home prioritizes carefully selected materials, including quality hardwoods and low-VOC components. Certain infrared sauna models have also undergone third-party VOC emissions testing. Because construction and testing vary across the collection, review the product page and current testing documentation for model-specific details.

Temperature depends on the heating system and model. Sun Home infrared saunas can reach temperatures up to 170°F, while traditional models can reach substantially higher cabin temperatures, with Nova reaching up to 230°F. Actual heat-up time and operating temperature can be affected by the model, installation environment, ambient temperature, and electrical setup.
