Sun Home offers two main shipping methods for saunas and cold plunges. Standard curbside freight is included — the carrier unloads the pallet at the end of your driveway, and you are responsible for moving the components to the install location. Room of Choice is an upgraded delivery service that brings your unit to a garage, covered patio, or interior room of your choice, with packaging removal included. Contact our support team prior to shipment for Room of Choice availability and pricing. Small parcel items (infrared blankets, accessories, inflatable cold plunges) ship via standard carriers like FedEx, UPS, or USPS.

How long does delivery take?

Large freight items (saunas and the Cold Plunge Pro) take approximately 2 to 4 weeks total. This includes warehouse preparation — most in-stock items leave within 7 business days — freight transit of 10 to 16 days, and delivery scheduling at your local terminal. Small parcel items (infrared blankets, accessories, inflatable cold plunges) typically arrive within 3 to 7 business days. Made-to-order models such as Solaris are built after purchase and have variable timelines. Preorder and backorder items show estimated shipping dates at checkout.

What is Room of Choice delivery?

Room of Choice is our upgraded delivery service. A professional team brings your sauna or cold plunge components to a garage, covered patio, or interior room of your choice, then removes and disposes of all packaging materials. Room of Choice does not include assembly or installation, and is not available for hard-to-reach or unsafe placement areas. Contact our support team prior to shipment for availability and pricing.

How difficult is Sun Home sauna assembly?

Most Sun Home indoor saunas can be assembled in 1 to 2 hours with 2 people, or 2 to 3 hours alone. Basic tools are required — typically a Phillips screwdriver, rubber mallet, step ladder, and Allen key, depending on the model. Outdoor saunas (Luminar) and traditional saunas (Solaris) involve a more comprehensive installation and may take longer. Step-by-step instructions are on each model's product page. Do Sun Home cold plunges require plumbing?

The Cold Plunge Pro and Cold Plunge Pro APEX require no external plumbing — the chiller, filtration, and plumbing are built in. After basic setup, plug into a dedicated 120V GFCI outlet and the system begins automated cooling. The inflatable Cold Plunge Standard uses an external chiller connected to the tub via hoses (tub-to-chiller-to-tub). All cold plunges need a dedicated 120V GFCI-protected outlet, a flat level surface that can support up to 4,000+ lbs when filled, and access to a hose for filling and draining. Initial cooling typically takes about 8 hours to reach 37 to 46°F.

What warranty do Sun Home saunas come with?

Warranty coverage varies by product. For residential use: Eclipse, Pod, and Luminar infrared saunas include limited lifetime coverage on cabinetry and heaters (up to 7 years), 3 years on controls, and 1 year on LED lighting, glass doors, and audio. Equinox and Solstice infrared saunas are covered for 7 years on cabinetry and heaters, 3 years on controls, and 1 year on glass doors and audio. Luminar additionally carries 3 years on the exterior cabin. Nova traditional saunas carry limited lifetime coverage on cabinetry, 1 year on fan and light controls, and 1 year on LED lighting; the HUUM Drop heater is covered under HUUM's own manufacturer warranty. Cold plunges have a 1-year residential limited warranty. Solaris traditional saunas have a 3-year warranty on cabinetry. Infrared blankets and red light therapy products have a 1-year warranty. What is infrared and what is full-spectrum infrared?

Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, infrared warms your body directly — allowing for faster warm-up times and lower ambient temperatures. Sun Home product lines vary in spectrum coverage. Eclipse, Equinox, and Luminar saunas deliver full-spectrum infrared. Solstice saunas deliver far-infrared. What are the EMF levels on Sun Home saunas?

Sun Home infrared saunas were tested by Vitatech Electromagnetics LLC, which measured AC ELF magnetic fields with the heating element under load (report VTE-3534). RMS readings were 0.6 to 4.0 mG at one foot, 0.4 to 1.8 mG at two feet, and 0.3 to 0.9 mG at three feet (typical seated distance) — field strength falls rapidly with distance. The summary of that testing describes these as ultra-low RMS EMF levels at normal seated distances.
