Frequently Asked Questions

What does “limited lifetime” mean?
Limited lifetime refers to up to 7 years of coverage, which is the expected lifespan of key components like cabinetry and heaters. This applies to residential use only.

Is labor included under warranty?
Yes, but only during the first 90 days after delivery. After that, the warranty covers parts only, and labor costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Is shipping covered for replacement parts?
Shipping is covered during the first 90 days. After that, customers are responsible for shipping and freight costs.

What counts as commercial use?
Commercial use includes any business or income-generating setting, such as gyms, spas, wellness centers, or rental properties.

Does the warranty cover cosmetic issues?
No. Natural wood variations, minor cracks, and cosmetic wear are expected and do not affect performance.

Can I transfer my warranty if I sell my sauna?
No. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

What happens if my product can’t be repaired?
Sun Home may choose to replace the product or offer partial reimbursement.

What are the most common reasons a warranty claim is denied?
The most common issues are improper installation, using a non-dedicated electrical circuit, improper voltage, placing the sauna too close to water sources, or modifying the product.
