Solaris Saunas

Last updated: June 8, 2026

Solaris is Sun Home's traditional outdoor sauna line — handcrafted in Europe, made-to-order, and delivered pre-assembled. Two sizes are available: Solaris S (2–4 people) and Solaris M (4–6 people). Both use high-output HUUM Wi-Fi-enabled heaters that reach 220°F+, premium Thermory wood framing, and marine-grade stainless steel reinforcement for long-term outdoor durability.

Solaris is hard-wired by a licensed electrician. Solaris S requires a dedicated 240V 25A circuit; Solaris M requires a dedicated 240V 40A circuit. There is no plug — the heater connects directly to the panel run. Schedule electrical work before delivery.

What Makes Solaris Different

  • European craftsmanship. Hand-crafted in Europe using time-honored joinery methods and modern production technology.
  • Pre-assembled delivery. Over 100 hours of precision assembly happen at the factory; your unit arrives pre-assembled and ready for final professional electrical hookup. No 2,000 lbs of flat-pack panels to wrestle in your backyard.
  • 220°F+ high-output heaters. HUUM Wi-Fi-enabled traditional heaters deliver powerful, consistent heat — the closest experience you can get to a Finnish-style sauna at home.
  • Superior thermal insulation. High-density insulation injected within the frame for faster heat-up and lower energy use.
  • Non-toxic premium materials. Low-VOC woods and carefully selected components keep the cabin air clean.
  • Built to last outdoors. Thermory wood frame with marine-grade stainless steel reinforcement for long-term weather resistance.

Lead Time

Solaris is handcrafted and made-to-order with an estimated 3–4 month lead time from purchase to delivery. Heat-up time once installed depends on ambient temperature — colder climates take longer to reach operating temperature.

If you need a faster delivery, our Luminar line of outdoor infrared saunas ships much sooner and is also designed for year-round outdoor use. See Outdoor Sauna Buying Guide for the full comparison.

Standard Features

All Solaris models come with the following standard features (previously offered as customizations):

  • Black exterior color
  • Stacked benches
  • Warm yellow interior lighting
  • Double-pane clear tempered glass

For the complete included-items list for each model, see the "Unique" tab on each product page.

Electrical Requirements

Solaris is the only Sun Home sauna line that is fully hard-wired:

  • Solaris S: 240V / 25A dedicated circuit, hard-wired
  • Solaris M: 240V / 40A dedicated circuit, hard-wired

A licensed electrician must run a dedicated 240V circuit from your main panel to the install location and connect it directly to the heater per the model-specific amperage requirements. Plan this work well in advance — outdoor panel runs often take longer than a same-day install. For full electrical context across our full product line, see Electrical Requirements Overview.

Where to Buy

Both Solaris models are available on the Sun Home Saunas site:
