What to Know Before Nova Arrives

Nova indoor traditional sauna — PXP hero

01 Prep the Site

Nova installs in a finished indoor room — not a recessed alcove. Leave about a foot on the heater side for the fresh-air intake, two feet on the exhaust side, and two feet overhead.

02 Plan the Power

Nova is hardwired — there is no plug. A licensed electrician installs the dedicated 240V circuit: 30A for Nova 3, 40A for Nova 6. Have it done before delivery.

03 Delivery Day

Two deliveries is normal: the cabin arrives as one freight crate, while the heater, controller, and stones ship separately. Start cabin assembly any time — book the electrician once everything is on site.

01 The Cabin

A Canadian cedar interior held together with marine-grade stainless steel fasteners, wrapped in double-wall insulated construction.

02 The Heat Source

A HUUM DROP electric sauna heater warms a full bed of sauna stones — ladle water over them for true löyly. (Grab a bucket and ladle; they're sold separately.)

03 The Details

A hand-laid carbonized hex tile back wall, thermal-optimized black privacy glass, and two independent lighting systems — warm LEDs behind the tile, ambient RGB under the benches with a remote.

01 Where It Lives

Indoor only, with the ventilation breathing open air. Expect some warmth and humidity in the surrounding room — that's the exhaust doing its job.

02 Who It Fits

Nova 3 is 64.9 inches wide, Nova 6 is 78.7. Dual-stack benches give every cabin a hot upper zone and a milder lower one — two intensities in the same session.

03 Stay Connected

The HUUM app controls the heater over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi — schedule your preheat from the couch, since a traditional sauna takes about an hour to come up to temperature.

01 After Each Session

Let the cabin dry out with the ventilation running and wipe the benches down. Cedar handles the heat; standing moisture is what to manage.

02 On a Schedule

Stones are a consumable: inspect monthly, remove any that crack or crumble, restack loosely, and expect to replace them about once a year with regular use.

03 What to Avoid

Never run the heater without stones, and never pour oils or alcohol directly on them — mix a few drops of sauna-safe oil into the bucket instead. The small door gap is by design, not a defect.
